This project is at concept stage but resonates with Wirrals past and the Tower Ballrooms at New Brighton developed in the early 1900’s.

Wirral Beacon
An iconic viewing tower with panoramic views to Liverpool, the River Mersey, the Liverpool Bay, the Cheshire Plains and the Ship Canal Marks Barfield, the designer of the London Eye and the i-360 in Brighton have worked up ideas for a new beacon for the area – potentially visible from Liverpool - an 80m high viewing platform set in Wirral Waters.
